How long will I have to wait for an appointment?
After receiving your booking form we will be able to offer you an appointment date and time within 24 hours.
We are always happy to speak to our customers directly. Simply call our local rate number, 0845 0707 800.
The appointment date offered (working around you) will usually be within two weeks of initial contact. However, at busy times it may be up to four weeks.
If your medical equipment is in urgent need of testing and calibration, we will always do everything we can in order to accommodate.
Why should we have our medical equipment tested and calibrated?
Having your medical equipment tested and calibrated reduces maintenance costs, downtime and significantly improves efficiency allowing medical devices and their component parts to work longer at a minimal increase to costs.
Accurate results are of the utmost importance and faulty equipment may give incorrect readings dramatically affecting diagnostics.
For example: A refrigerator may read 5°C. However, in reality the temperature could be almost 15°C. Such a fault would affect medicines inside and could be detrimental for patients and your practice. After calibration your fridge will read correctly.
How many QOF points can we claim from having our equipment tested and calibrated?
Three QOF points can be claimed by having medical equipment tested and calibrated (nGMS contract - Management point 7).
We will issue you with a comprehensive certification pack as proof that testing and calibration has taken place as required for your QOF audit.
Is it possible to receive a discount on the per item price?
Yes. By taking up our three year agreement you can save up to 20%.
After booking an appointment can I request that more items be tested and calibrated?
Of course. Please advise us of this as soon as possible so that we are able to allocate more of the engineer's time.
